DWLA Wishes You a Happy Hanukkah!!!

Hanukkah begins at sundown tonight and lasts for eight nights.  If you celebrate the holiday, enjoy your latkes and sufganiyot (fried filled doughnuts).

P.S.  For adoptees with holiday “issues,” here’s an article to show you’re not alone.

  1. Happy holidays!

  2. Thank you for sharing this tear-rendering article. My husband lost his only parent (his adoptive father) to cancer this time of year. Although it was twenty-six years ago (my husband is 49), he still becomes quite quiet and introspective. I do my best. This article makes me realize even the smallest gestures can make a difference… xo

    • I’m so glad that the article was useful to you. It’s so true about the smallest gestures. I hope this year will be a peaceful and harmonious holiday season for you both. Hugs to you, luggagelady.

  3. Reblogged this on Don't We Look Alike? and commented:

And for a wonderful Hanukkah 2013!!!!!!!!!!
